There's something special about families. They expand, they evolve, members come and go, but everyone always remembers where they came from. St. JOHN and Fifteen have had quite the family affair over the years...
Now, with some changes taking place to the amazing Fifteen Apprentice Programme, we thought it was the perfect time for a family reunion. Three brilliant chefs, who have spanned both restaurants in the course of their careers and now head up their own, return to St. John to cook a grand celebratory feast with Fergus and Head Chef Arnold Hoeksma. Please join us - it'll be like Christmas, without the arguments or the charades*

For those of you who don't know, Jamie Oliver's Fifteen is not just a wonderful restaurant and our neighbour in Shoreditch, but also a social enterprise which uses the magic, rigour, creativity and community of cooking to give unemployed young people the chance for a better future. Since its inception in 2002, 164 young people have graduated from the Fifteen Apprentice Programme. Over a quarter of those are now Head or Executive Chefs.
Over the years we at St. JOHN have had the honour of teaching many of these apprentices, and the subsequent privilege of employing some of those graduates.
Jon worked in the kitchens of both St. JOHN Smithfield and the St. JOHN Hotel before becoming Head Chef at Fifteen. He is now Chef and Co-Owner of the critically acclaimed Marksman, with Tom Harris (also ex-St. JOHN)!
Robbin worked at both St. JOHN Smithfield and at Bread & Wine before moving to Fifteen, becoming Head Chef on Jon's departure to The Marksman.
